Hard questions and hard times can raise doubts against our faith. In this series, let’s look at the issues that make people doubt the Christian claims.
September 30 Guest Speaker Michael Suderman
During the 10am worship hour, find out how to fix fading faith.
During the 11am Life Group hour, grab some coffee in the gym and settle in as Michael fields questions from the audience.
Michael Suderman will kick off Austin Think Week with a special message at Hillcrest Church. Find a list of all the Austin Think Week events by clicking here.
Michael graduated from Tabor College in Kansas with a double major in Philosophy and Biblical & Religious Studies. He recently completed a Master of Theology degree at the University of Oxford. He is currently a traveling speaker based in Washington, DC. Michael speaks on topics related to science, faith and world religions. His passion is to help facilitate the discovery of answers to the most profound of life’s challenges and questions.
October 7 Guest Speaker Jeremiah Farmer*
In light of all the different ways to God in our world, how can Christians say there’s only one way to God?
Jeremiah was born in Washington State and raised in Houston. He and his wife have been married for 19 years and they have 3 children. He was an architect after his graduation from Texas A&M, until God called them into full-time overseas ministry. Jeremiah leads the work in East Asia for our International Mission Board. His experiences have made him well-equipped to answer the second question in our “Don’t Stop Believing” study series: “Isn’t it Intolerant to Say There’s Only One Way to God?” He will speak during the 10:00 a.m. service, and after our Life Groups meet at 11:00 a.m., he will speak at a lunchtime meeting in the MPC. The lunch is from Corner Bakery and costs $7.50. Preregistration for the lunch is required and you can sign up here.
