MOTHER’S DAY OUT PROGRAM

Thank you for exploring our Mother's Day Out program at Hillcrest! Our program has been blessed with the privilege of serving preschool children for over 30 years!

We believe that children are a precious gift from God. It is our goal to treat each child in our care with this belief in mind. We do our very best to ensure that each child is provided an environment where they can learn and thrive.

If you have any questions about our program or facilities, please do not hesitate to contact me:

PHILOSOPHY
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

Mother's Day Out offers a program where children can learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment filled with God's love. We work to assess and meet the needs of our students on an individual basis. Our desire is that each child will become an enthusiastic learner. We encourage children to imagine, explore, be curious, and express themselves in a positive way. Our hope is that families will experience love and joy as they encounter all aspects of our program.

CURRICULUM
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2:52

Our aim is to assist parents in laying a foundation of understanding God, Jesus, the Bible, self, and family. As part of this foundation and understanding, we strive to develop "kindergarten ready" children in the areas of language development, reading, writing, and math skills. Our curriculum provides a range of activities designed to meet these needs.

Classrooms include learning centers appropriate for each age level. These centers include art, blocks, books, home living, music, nature, science, puzzles, and manipulatives. Children are encouraged to move around and choose experiences that interest them.

PARENTS
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Parent involvement is highly encouraged and gladly accepted. Parent volunteers, representing each classroom, help organize, coordinate, plan parties, and organize other special events.
